My beautiful daughter Linnea has recently joined the Blogosphere! I'm so excited to be able to connect with her in this way. Like mother, like daughter... In the years to come, her children will treasure these insights into her heart and life. I love you and I'm so proud of you, Honey!!

What a sweet face! You must get such joy from your daughter starting a blog of her very own at such a young age.

Mel, mother of 7? Working full time? How do you balance it? I cannot even begin to imagine.

Good morning, D.L.!

Yes, I am so glad she started a blog of her own, and I'm praying that it will be a tool God will use in her life and the lives of others to encourage a depth of independent, Christ-centered, scripture-based thought and decision making that appears to be all too rare among the youth of our culture. I pray that He will be glorified in every detail of her life.

As to your question... Honestly, D.L., I don't do a very good job balancing it all. My family eats way too many convenience foods, and nothing in my life is maintained or cared for as faithfully as it should be. God is good, and faithful, and full of grace and mercy and I desperately depend on Him and cling to Him and trust Him every moment of every day.

Blessings to you, Beautiful Sister! :)

In Christ,
Mel

Hi Mel,
She is a daisy isn't she. I'll bet you are proud of her and excited about her blogging. It can be so much fun and draws out our creative side. Which by the way, I have failed to comment on the great pictures you have begun to include, especially that ROSE!
God bless,
Fred

Hi Fred,

I'm so glad you like the pictures. The rose picture is one of my favorites. I have it on my screen saver at work. :)

Bless you my friend,

Mel
